Requirements

- Cityfurnish is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Furniture Architect who will be responsible for end-to-end furniture design, development, and costing, along with a strong understanding of interior aesthetics and space planning.
- The ideal candidate should be able to conceptualize, design, and execute furniture that is functional, durable, cost-efficient, and aligned with modern interior trends, especially keeping in mind rental usage and high durability requirements.
- Design innovative and functional furniture products aligned with current market trends.
- Develop concepts from sketch to final product, ensuring usability and aesthetics.
- Create designs optimized for durability, reusability, and ease of maintenance.
- Work closely with vendors and internal teams to convert designs into production-ready products.
- Oversee sampling, prototyping, and product development cycles.
- Ensure product quality, structural strength, and finish standards.
- Prepare detailed costing for each product, including: Raw materials
- Manufacturing costs
- Logistics and installation costs
- Optimize designs to ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality.
- Apply interior design principles to ensure furniture aligns with different space requirements.
- Suggest layout improvements and furniture combinations for better space utilization.
- Keep track of design trends, customer preferences, and usability patterns.
- Create detailed CAD drawings and technical specifications.
- Maintain proper documentation for design, dimensions, and materials.
- Coordinate with vendors, carpenters, and manufacturers for execution.
- Conduct site visits to ensure proper installation and resolve on-ground issues.
