Cityfurnish is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Human Resources Intern to join our HR team and gain hands-on exposure across core HR functions. This role will help you understand the complete employee lifecycle—from hiring to onboarding, vendor management engagement and exits—while contributing to a fast-growing organization.
- 1. Recruitment & Hiring Support
- Assist in posting job openings on various job portals and company platforms.
- Screen resumes and shortlist candidates based on job requirements.
- Coordinate interview schedules with candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain candidate data and hiring trackers.
- Support offer rollout and pre-joining communication with selected candidates.
- Employee Onboarding & Induction
- Prepare and manage onboarding documents and joining formalities.
- Coordinate and support induction sessions for new joiners.
- Ensure completion of joining formalities such as KYC, forms, and system access.
- Update employee details in HRMS and maintain onboarding records.
- Act as the first point of contact for new employees during their initial days.
- You will work closely with multiple operational and facility vendors and ensure smooth execution of day-to-day requirements.
- Manage and coordinate with vendors for:
- CCTV installation and maintenance.
- Vehicle branding and fleet-related requirements.
- Employee uniforms, T-shirts, and merchandise.
- Pest control and housekeeping services.
- Printing and branding material.
- Responsibilities include:
- Vendor identification and onboarding.
- Obtaining quotations and negotiating commercial terms.
- Maintaining vendor databases and documentation.
- Coordinating invoice processing and payment follow-ups.
- Maintain employee records and HR MIS.
- Support onboarding and employee documentation.
- Prepare weekly hiring and manpower reports.
- Coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Admin teams.
- Assist in implementing HR and operational SOPs.
- Support ad-hoc projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Pursuing or recently completed MBA (HR) / Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable interacting with vendors and negotiating prices.
- Good knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
- High ownership mindset and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get things done.
