Implementation Project Manager

Manage end-to-end planning and execution of customer onboardings and EMR-integrated clinical trial matching solution go-lives in cancer centers.

About the company

  • Help build the repeatable playbooks, project plans, and templates that let our delivery model scale as we move through a heavy run of onboardings and grow from a handful to 25+ enterprise logos
  • Coordinate seamlessly with Account Management and Commercial on clean handoffs from go-live into steady-state

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of technical / operational project management or implementation experience, ideally in health tech or inside a health system where EMRs and clinical workflows are central
  • Hands-on experience managing or supporting EMR-integrated deployments end-to-end (Epic strongly preferred)
  • Experience on the cancer center / academic medical center side of a vendor go-live, ideally as part of a PMO or implementation team—or equivalent vendor-side implementation experience partnering with hospital PMOs
  • Strong project management instincts: you can quarterback complex, multi-stakeholder integrations and keep everyone on timeline
  • High initiative and bias to action—you spot a gap, build a plan, and execute without waiting to be told
  • Comfort translating between technical and clinical stakeholders: FDEs, IT, security, and clinical end users
  • Based in NYC and willing to come to the office and travel to customers—OR based in a regional customer hub and willing to travel to your customer base as well as to NYC periodically

Nice to have

  • Direct experience at Epic, or deploying inside an Epic shop at a large cancer center or academic medical center (Epic certification a plus)
  • Hands-on experience standing up or supporting a clinical trial matching or clinical trials technology deployment
  • Familiarity with oncology care and clinical research operations (clinical trials, trial matching, CRCs)
  • Experience delivering AI / ML products into a clinical or research setting
  • Experience at a startup scaling rapidly and managing multiple deployments and personas simultaneously

Other

  • We're hiring a Project Manager to own the planning and execution of our customer onboardings and go-lives. We have a significant number of deployments coming over the next several months, the majority of them for our fully EMR-integrated clinical trial matching solution. This is an implementation and delivery role: you own the technical and operational integration steps that get each cancer center live, from the moment a deal closes through go-live and into a clean handoff to steady-state.
  • You will be the quarterback of every Triomics deployment and the Triomics-side counterpart to the PMO teams inside our cancer centers. Today we partner with project managers on the cancer center side to drive these go-lives. We're bringing that capability in-house so we have a true project management function that owns the plan from our side. You'll work hand-in-hand with our Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) team to scope and sequence the technical integration, and our Clinical Navigators to build end-user training into the launch.
  • Our users are clinicians: physicians, nurses, and clinical research coordinators (CRCs), and our deployments live inside the EMR. The best person for this role has sat on the cancer center side of an EMR-integrated go-live, speaks the language of both clinical and IT stakeholders, and knows how a cancer center's PMO actually operates (ideally inside an Epic shop).
  • Serve as the single point of accountability and the Triomics-side counterpart to each cancer center's PMO and internal project teams, from closed-won through go-live and into a clean handoff to steady-state
  • Build and manage integration project plans, milestones, and timelines; drive accountability on both sides to keep deployments on track
  • Maintain the most up-to-date pulse on the status, risk, and blockers of every deployment in your portfolio
  • Act as the project manager / quarterback from the Triomics side of every integration and go-live, coordinating internal teams (FDE, Clinical, Product) and the cancer center's teams (PMO, clinical, research, IT, security) to accelerate timelines
  • Partner with Forward Deployed Engineers to scope, sequence, and prioritize the technical and operational integration steps for our fully EMR-integrated trial matching solution: data feeds, interfaces, environment setup, validation, and cutover
  • Anticipate and clear blockers across clinical, IT, and security review cycles before they slip the timeline
  • Partner with Clinical Navigators to sequence end-user training into the go-live plan for physicians, nurses, and CRCs
  • Run a consistent operating cadence on every deployment (status, risk, and milestone reviews) with both Triomics and cancer center PMO teams
  • Surface risks early and drive the decisions needed to hold the launch date
  • Dive into deployment data to track progress, validate readiness, and confirm the system is working as intended at go-live
  • Proactively spot where a deployment is slipping or where scope is creeping, then game-plan a fix and execute it yourself or marshal the right internal team to deliver it
  • Propose and help build the reporting, KPIs, and dashboards that sharpen our (and the customer's) view of deployment health
  • You're running integration / go-live project plans independently and visibly accelerating timelines across multiple concurrent deployments
  • You're the established Triomics-side counterpart to your cancer centers' PMO teams, with a clear, current read on the status, risk, and blockers of every deployment
  • You've established a working rhythm with FDEs and Clinical Navigators and have pulled them in effectively on at least one deployment
  • You've dug into a deployment that was slipping, identified the root cause, and shipped (or driven) a concrete fix
  • Internal teams and customer PMOs consistently describe you as organized, credible, and the person who keeps the deployment on track
