Lead Product Manager responsible for strategy and execution of personalized fitness guidance features at Peloton.
Responsibilities

- Peloton is seeking an experienced Lead Product Manager to oversee the strategy and execution for Personalized Guidance, a suite of product features that serve to understand member’s wellness goals, provide unique fitness paths for each member and provide motivation to achieve them.

- In this high-impact IC (Individual Contributor) role, you will be the primary driver of how we combine data and content to deliver tailored fitness journeys to millions of Members across our suite Connected Fitness devices and Apps. The ideal candidate will feel comfortable driving both product strategy and execution and is excited to navigate the changing landscape of AI technologies. They will report to the Director of Product Management and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Design, Engineering, Content and Marketing to deliver the most personalized digital wellness experience on the market.

Requirements
-
- 6+ years of Product Management experience, with at least 2 years focused on AI/ML products and a record of driving measurable impact on user growth and engagement
- Direct experience shipping consumer AI products, understanding of the nuances of building conversational interfaces and balancing tradeoffs between model cost, latency and accuracy
- Experience partnering cross-functionally to define quantitative evaluations for AI products to ensure they are accurate, safe and aligned with the brand
- Exceptional communication skills, especially the ability to work closely with experts in a different field, understand their needs and translate them into strategy, features and tools
- Strong UX sensibility and experience triaging and responding to user feedback
- Highly collaborative and willing to give and accept constructive feedback
- Self starter; ability to act autonomously
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Constant attention to detail

- Experience in consumer subscription models and driving growth through subscription-based features
- Experience working on a consumer software product with integrated hardware
- Experience in health and fitness, content streaming, or other related fields
- Experience with complex metadata systems and ML-based recommendation systems

- The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including, without limitation, experience and business objectives and if the location for the job changes. - Act as Strategic Lead for all Personalized Guidance features at Peloton, developing and executing a comprehensive and inspiring product strategy for driving engagement and improving fitness outcomes
- Partner with Content and Marketing to align content programming with product features that help current members get the most value from their membership and attract new subscribers
- Work with Fitness Experts, User Research and Analytics to develop a deep understanding of both our Members and the fitness space to ensure the product roadmap is grounded in user needs and fitness science
- Define and monitor success metrics and offer data-driven insights to inspire new features and experiments that drive engagement
- Collaborate closely with other Software PMs to ensure a holistic connected experience across features and content types
- Drive features to launch by translating product requirements into engineering requirements and testing criteria, performing User Acceptance Testing and designing experiments in collaboration with Engineering, Program Management and Analytics partners
