Technical Trainer and Adoption Specialist role responsible for designing and delivering technical training content to support employees.
Responsibilities
- Crusoe's IT team is responsible for the systems, tools, and capabilities that keep the company running and scaling. As a Technical Trainer and Adoption Specialist, you will support the team that designs, builds, and maintains the technical training content that helps every Crusoe employee — from day-one new hires, to executives, to experienced operators on the shop floor — get up to speed on our core technology faster and more effectively.
- This role requires designing, planning, and presenting VILT and in-person training, as well as building materials and content for those trainings. You'll work closely with our Senior Technical Trainer, and a content builder, to develop and manage needed courses and material as part of a larger technical training effort. This role will travel as needed, up to 30%, especially to our Sunnyvale, and Bellevue locations.
- You'll partner with IT, People Operations, and business unit leaders to understand what employees need to know, identify gaps, and build the content that closes them. If you're a skilled instructional designer who is also a natural teacher, comfortable building trainings from scratch and at a rapid pace, and excited to work at a company on the cutting edge of AI infrastructure — this role was made for you.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as Claude, Workato, or similar — or a demonstrated track record of learning new platforms quickly and an excitement for AI.
- Experience partnering with HR or People Ops teams on new hire onboarding program design.
- Experience supporting technology rollouts or change management initiatives from a training and adoption perspective.

- If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.
- Design, develop, and provide training programs for software, including Google Workspace, Slack, and other company-wide platforms.
- Identify learning needs and propose trainings and coursework to meet those needs.
- Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions, including onboarding cohorts and company-wide technology rollout trainings.
- Be able to create eLearning modules, video content, job aids, and other instructional materials covering course material as needed.
- Partner with the Sr. Technical Trainer, People Ops onboarding manager, and manufacturing instructors to redesign and continuously improve the technical onboarding experience — ensuring new hires across corporate and manufacturing teams get productive on core technology faster and more accurately.
- Develop and maintain AI literacy training content in support of Crusoe's internal AI enablement initiatives, helping employees across the company get effective with tools like Claude and Workato.
- Use video, audio, and visual editing tools to make instructional materials.
- Conduct training needs analyses through stakeholder interviews, observation, and data review to identify gaps and prioritize learning programs.
- Analyze learner feedback and engagement data to measure training effectiveness and continuously improve content quality.

- A Bachelor's degree in any field plus 4–6 years of experience in technical training, instructional design, or a closely related discipline — OR a Master's degree plus 2–4 years of relevant experience. We care more about what you've built and delivered than the specific field of your degree.
- A portfolio of instructional design work is required. We want to see examples of eLearning, curriculum, video content, or training programs you've created from scratch — this is a hard requirement for consideration.
- Demonstrated ability to design and build training curricula from the ground up, not just update or maintain existing materials.
- Experience producing some video or multimedia training content as part of a broader learning program.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and accessibly to learners from a wide range of backgrounds — from corporate staff to manufacturing employees — without losing the people who already know the material.
- Organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-moving environment without sacrificing quality.
- Genuinely curious about technology and keeps up with the tools, platforms, and AI capabilities that are changing how people work.
- Ability to work with and train learners of diverse backgrounds, including corporate, technical, and manufacturing or field workforce audiences.
