- Serve as one of Campfire's technical accounting experts in sales cycles and scoping conversations, translating complex accounting requirements into product solutions.
- Demo the Campfire product and field technical accounting questions on live sales calls.
- Identify customer pain points and collaborate with the product and engineering teams to customize and build solutions.
- Guide the future product roadmap by channeling customer insights to the product development team.
- Develop marketing materials and contribute to the evolving go-to-market strategy.
- QUALIFICATIONS
- Deep accounting experience required. CPA is a plus - Our ideal candidate brings a mix of public accounting and industry accounting experience in the technology space.
- Familiarity with topics such as ASC 606 (revenue recognition), ASC 830 (foreign currency), and ASC 842 (lease accounting) is a plus. Experience applying AI to accounting workflows is a bonus.
- Strong understanding of accounting workflows such as period close and journal entry approvals.
- Demonstrated ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with accounting software or financial technology.
- Excellent communication skills and a consultative sales approach.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to help build something from the ground up.
