Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in brand copywriting, content writing, or creative writing (fresh grads with strong portfolios are welcome).
- Strong writing skills with examples across social media, scripts, short-form content, or campaign copy.
- Understanding of social media behavior, trends, formats, and what drives audience engagement.
- Ability to ideate, pitch, and refine concepts into clear and compelling copy.
- Excellent command of English (Malay is a plus).
- A portfolio showcasing creative writing, scripts, storytelling, or digital content.
Nice to have
- Experience writing for video, podcasts, or creative campaigns.
- Familiarity with storyboarding, creative direction, or basic video editing.
- Passion for media, culture, storytelling, or entertainment content.

- Write compelling copy for campaigns, digital ads, social media, landing pages, and product content.
- Develop brand narratives, messaging frameworks, and tone-of-voice guidelines that strengthen BJAK’s identity.
- Craft headlines, scripts, hooks, and storytelling angles that are memorable, scroll-stopping, and conversion-oriented.
- Produce scripts and storylines for short-form videos, social content, and podcast-style formats.
- Create engaging captions, dialogues, and copy optimized for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and more.
- Work closely with designers, video producers, and marketing teams to bring stories to life across formats.
- Contribute ideas for creative concepts, content series, campaigns, and brand moments.
- Ensure all content remains fresh, culturally relevant, and aligned with BJAK’s brand voice.
- Stay on top of cultural trends, social formats, and viral content styles.
- Identify storytelling opportunities that resonate with specific audiences and markets.
- Love storytelling and can write with clarity, personality, and emotional impact.
- Understand what makes people pause, read, watch, and engage on social platforms.
- Can shift tones effortlessly—from playful and witty to professional and informative.
