Internship position in Paris to support the B2B Online team managing e-commerce retailer partnerships.
Responsibilities
- As a Business Associate Intern, your mission will be to support the Online B2B team to grow Joko’s e-commerce business in France and abroad: with a strong focus on our upcoming US expansion.
- Your responsibilities will revolve around three main pillars:
- Develop and manage partnerships: Grow your own portfolio of leading brands, negotiate commercial deals and promotional campaigns, and ensure top-quality relationships with our strategic partners.
- Drive growth through data insights and operations: Act as a trusted advisor for partners by analyzing their performance, extracting actionable insights, understanding their needs and progress, and guiding them on how to maximize results.
- Contribute across commercial, analytical, and cross-functional projects: Work on strategic initiatives that blend commercial development, customer and data insights, and problem-solving. Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and other transversal teams to analyze performance, identify opportunities, and help shape new initiatives and product launches.

How to apply
- Intro call: Quick screening with the Hiring Manager or the Talent team.
- Step 1 – Team interview (45 min): Conversation with two Joko team members (could include the Hiring Manager, people from the team you’d join, or colleagues from other teams).
- Step 2 – Role-specific assessments For non-engineering roles : A take-home case study followed by a 45-min interview. We assess both your output and how you think in real time. The exercise will be relevant to your role (e.g. analysis, strategy, or process design).
- For engineering roles : A 90-min live technical interview on CoderPad covering code understanding, review, system design, and product thinking (with AI serving as a collaboration tool).
- Step 3 – Leadership interview (45 min): Conversation with a SteerCo member and a Founder.
- References: Up to 3 calls with former colleagues or managers.

- The B2B team is divided between our three business lines at Joko: Online, Card-Linked, and Gift Cards.
- The Online team is responsible for expanding and managing our portfolio of leading e-commerce retailers, both directly and via affiliate marketing platforms
- The Card-Linked team is responsible for negotiating and signing enterprise partnerships with top-tier physical retailers, and for strengthening these long-term relationships over time
- The Gift Cards team is responsible for building and managing a broad portfolio of brands and retailers, partnering with providers and brands to drive growth

- Education : You are enrolled in a top engineering, business school (or equivalent).
- Experience : You are looking for an end-of-studies 6-month internship (or a second gap-year internship) and you have at least 6 months of prior experience, ideally gained in a fast-paced environment, tech, or consulting.
- Problem solver : You are pragmatic and know how to solve problems quickly.
- Mindset : You have an entrepreneurial mindset, you like challenges and you like getting hands-on.
- Autonomy : You are fully autonomous and able to manage complex projects from A to Z.
- Languages: You have to be a fluent French speaker, but also at ease in English both written and spoken, as we are expanding internationally soon.
