Lead and build the global Engagement function, managing a team of Engagement Managers to define customer engagement strategies and support sales, deployment, and partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • We are hiring a Head of Engagement to build and lead the Engagement function globally.
  • You will manage and scale a team of Engagement Managers across Europe, the Middle East, US, and future regions, and define how Harmattan AI engages with customers—from technical demonstrations to full deployment and long-term partnerships.
  • This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Product, and Field Operations, and directly impacts our ability to win tenders, deploy systems successfully, and build a scalable partner ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in Sales Engineering, Program Management, Field Operations, or similar roles in UAV, defense, robotics, or complex systems environments
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams in technical, customer-facing contexts
  • Strong experience with technical sales cycles, deployments, and OEM/partner integrations
  • Ability to operate at both: Strategic level (defining frameworks, scaling functions)
  • Operational level (supporting critical deals, deployments, and escalations)
  • Strong system-level understanding of integrated hardware + software products
  • Complex Project Management: Avid learner with a demonstrated capacity to handle large-scale, complex projects – offering innovative solutions and leading teams to deliver outstanding results.
  • Adaptability & Mobility: Thrives under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; embraces a “no-task-is-too-small” mentality.
  • Communication & Influence: Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of leading diverse principals – from junior members to senior executives.

  • UAV pilot license strongly preferred
  • High willingness to travel (significant field presence required)

  • Build, manage, and scale a global team of Engagement Managers across regions
  • Define team structure, hiring plan, and capability development
  • Establish clear performance standards, KPIs, and operating cadence
  • Define and own the global engagement strategy across all markets
  • Ensure consistency and excellence in customer interactions, demonstrations, and deployments
  • Partner with Sales leadership on strategic deals, key accounts, and major tenders
  • Standardize and elevate: Demonstration frameworks and demo kits
  • Deployment and field operation processes
  • Customer engagement playbooks
  • Ensure high level of execution quality and repeatability across regions
  • Establish structured processes to capture field insights, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence
  • Translate field learnings into actionable inputs for Product and Engineering
  • Ensure tight alignment between market needs and product roadmap
  • Act as the central interface between Sales, Marketing, R&D and Product
  • Ensure seamless coordination across teams for customer delivery and deployment success
