- As a Business Associate Intern, you’ll play a key role in launching and scaling Joko in the US, one of the company’s most strategic growth priorities. This role offers a full-scope business experience, combining commercial strategy, day-to-day operations, and data-driven decision-making, with real ownership from day one.

How to apply
- Intro call: Quick screening with the Hiring Manager or the Talent team.
- Step 1 – Team interview (45 min): Conversation with two Joko team members (could include the Hiring Manager, people from the team you’d join, or colleagues from other teams).
- Step 2 – Role-specific assessments For non-engineering roles : A take-home case study followed by a 45-min interview. We assess both your output and how you think in real time. The exercise will be relevant to your role (e.g. analysis, strategy, or process design).
- For engineering roles : A 90-min live technical interview on CoderPad covering code understanding, review, system design, and product thinking (with AI serving as a collaboration tool).
- Step 3 – Leadership interview (45 min): Conversation with a SteerCo member and a Founder.
- References: Up to 3 calls with former colleagues or managers.

- The B2B team is divided between our three business lines at Joko: Online, Card-Linked, and Gift Cards.
- The Online team is responsible for expanding and managing our portfolio of leading e-commerce retailers, both directly and via affiliate marketing platforms
- The Card-Linked team is responsible for negotiating and signing enterprise partnerships with top-tier physical retailers, and for strengthening these long-term relationships over time
- The Gift Cards team is responsible for building and managing a broad portfolio of top retailers and companies, partnering with providers and brands to drive growth

- Build and manage a portfolio of US-based brands and platforms, from onboarding to long-term collaboration
- Structure and execute commercial agreements, revenue initiatives, and media activations
- Act as a key point of contact for partners, ensuring strong execution and high-quality relationships
- Help identify growth opportunities by monitoring partner needs, performance trends, and market dynamics
- Track and analyze key performance and operational metrics to identify growth opportunities, anticipate issues, and optimize campaigns.
- Conduct analyses of US e-commerce trends , consumer behavior, competitive landscapes, and partner performance to refine our strategy in this market.
- Work closely with marketing, data, and product teams to turn insights into actionable recommendations that drive revenue and improve partner performance.
- Support Joko’s integration into the US affiliate and partner ecosystem
- Help adapt our commercial and operational playbooks to the US market
- Take part in building the go-to-market execution, from partnerships to performance monitoring
- Act as an ambassador for Joko in the US, building strong relationships across the ecosystem and contributing to Joko’s reputation as a trusted, high-quality partner
- Education: You are currently enrolled in a top engineering or business school (or equivalent).
- Experience: You’re looking for a 6-month end-of-studies internship (or gap-year internship), with at least 6 months of prior experience in a fast-paced, tech, consulting, or international environment.
- Problem-solver: You are pragmatic and able to solve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Mindset: You have an entrepreneurial spirit, enjoy challenges, and love getting hands-on.
- Autonomy: You can independently manage complex projects from A to Z.
- Languages: You are fluent in French and comfortable working in English (written & spoken).
- International exposure: Experience in a US environment is a strong plus.
