Requirements
- 4+ years blending UX/UI design with frontend prototyping
- Strong design sensibility and visual taste
- Expertise in Figma and UX (systems thinking, interaction design, prototyping)
- Solid React/HTML/CSS/JS chops for building proof-of-concepts
- Experience designing for social, consumer, or culturally-driven products
- Portfolio demonstrating original, forward-thinking design work and functional prototypes you've built
Nice to have
- Motion design and animation (Framer Motion, GSAP, After Effects)
- Experience with Cursor, Claude Code, or similar AI tooling
- Native mobile design experience (iOS/Android patterns)
- Graphic design, art direction, or brand design background

- We're looking for a design engineer who owns the full UX/UI vision and can rapidly prototype concepts in code. You'll shape how our products look and feel, crafting interfaces in Figma, then building functional prototypes that frontend engineering brings to production.
- Own UX/UI design for new features and products end-to-end
- Build interactive prototypes that communicate intent beyond static mocks
- Define and evolve our design system and component language
- Partner with engineers to hand off specs and refine implementation details
- Explore experimental interfaces, push what social apps can look and feel like
- Maintain high visual quality bar from concept through shipped product
