Business Development Representative to find and engage potential customers for AI agents serving businesses like restaurants.

Responsibilities

  • At Maple, we’re on a mission to make AI work for real-world businesses—and we want a high-energy Business Development Representative who’s equal parts hunter, relationship-builder, and product enthusiast. You’ll be the first spark for new customers, showing them how Maple’s AI agents can revolutionize their day-to-day. If you love starting conversations, chasing leads, and moving fast, you’ll fit right in.

Conditions

  • Competitive salary + meaningful equity
  • A real product with real usage and growing revenue
  • Strong In-person culture, fast feedback loops, and zero bureaucracy
  • A small team that feels like a founding team
  • Full health, dental, vision, 401k, life insurance, and unlimited PTO
  • Tools budget, coffee budget, whatever-you-need-to-be-great budget
  • Want to help reimagine how software works for real-world businesses? Let’s talk.

Other

  • At Maple , we’re building AI agents that work for restaurants. These agents answer calls, take orders, book appointments, and handle real customer interactions over natural voice.
  • But our bigger mission goes deeper: we’re building automated ontologies that model how businesses actually operate — their services, workflows, constraints, and language — so our agents can adapt to them instantly. We meet businesses where they are, not where software wants them to be.
  • We have many customers, strong revenue growth, years of runway, and backing from world-class investors . I’ll share more once we meet.
  • Find and engage potential customers—restaurants, salons, repair shops, you name it
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads and set up intro calls for our sales team
  • Get to know Maple inside and out so you can tailor your pitch to every business
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers and make every interaction count
  • Work closely with product and customer success to share feedback and spot new opportunities
  • Help us level up our outreach strategies and keep our pipeline buzzing
  • 0–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or just being scrappy and persistent
  • High energy, resourceful, and not afraid to cold call, DM, or try something new
  • Clear communicator who can make tech sound simple (and maybe even fun)
  • Comfortable juggling lots of conversations and priorities at once
  • Experience with small businesses or technical products is a plus, but not required
  • Organized, proactive, and always ready to go the extra mile to win the deal
  • We optimize for leverage. That means great internal tooling, fast CI/CD, and code that scales across many customer types
  • We believe in deep ownership. Engineers here talk to users, design features, and ship fast
  • We value clarity over process. You’ll spend most of your day building, not waiting on decisions
  • We move in person. We’re a tight-knit team that moves fast and solves problems together
