Responsibilities
- Design and manage scalable, high-availability infrastructure.
- Automate provisioning and configuration with Ansible and Terraform.
- Ensure security using Vault and Consul for secrets and service management.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging with Prometheus, Grafana, and related tools.
- Optimize infrastructure performance and reliability in collaboration with dev teams.
- Continuously monitor systems, addressing issues proactively.
- Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments.
- Support SRE teams in high-availability planning and incident management.
- Use OpenTelemetry for tracing and performance insights.
Requirements
- 3+ years as a DevOps engineer or similar role.
- Experience with Envoy Proxy for load balancing and traffic routing.
- Proficiency in Docker and orchestration tools like Nomad or Kubernetes.
- Hands-on knowledge of Consul and Vault for service and secret management.
- Strong skills in AWS cloud services and IaC with Terraform.
- Expertise in monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
- Familiarity with Mimir, Tempo, and OpenTelemetry.
- Experience with Ansible for configuration management.
- Scripting proficiency (Bash, Python, Lua).
Nice to have
- Blockchain infrastructure experience, especially RPC nodes.
- Incident management and disaster recovery knowledge.
- Familiarity with security best practices in hybrid (cloud-native/bare-metal) environments.
- CI/CD pipeline experience for automated deployments.
