Requirements
- You’re a detail-oriented Accountant who takes ownership of your work and doesn’t cut corners.
- You’re comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with high transaction volume. You understand how accounting flows through the business and can manage multiple responsibilities without dropping the ball.
- You don’t need constant direction; you know what needs to get done, and you do it.
- Strong experience with GL accounting, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Support for month-end close and financial reporting
- Experience working with high-volume transactions (AP/AR, invoicing, payments)
- Ability to maintain accuracy and organization under pressure
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Epicor Prophet 21 or similar preferred)
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- 2+ years of general accounting experience (AP/AR) at a professional level in a corporate environment
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals (GAAP)
- Experience supporting the month-end close
- Experience in a product-based or distribution environment is preferred
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Nice to have
- Experience with inventory accounting
- Exposure to multi-entity environments
- Working toward CPA designation
