Develop and maintain reusable React/Next.js frontend components and interactive workflows for a dental revenue cycle management product.
Responsibilities
- We are looking for a frontend focused engineer.
- Create and maintain a reusable component library in React/Next.js from the ground-up.
- Build interactive workflows that visualize complex insurance and financial data.
- Set and continually increase the bar for UI/UX polish.
- Bring structure and craft to our frontend codebase, focusing on accessibility, performance, and responsiveness.
- Help establish frontend patterns, design systems, and interface conventions.
Other
- DayDream helps dentists get paid for the work they do. In this $165B market, our product simplifies the complex process of verifying insurance coverage, submitting claims, appealing denials, billing patients, and maintaining clean books. As a result of how complex this process is and how many things get lost in the process, dentists can lose 10-20% of their revenue!
- What this leads to is the things patients hate about the American healthcare system: it’s inefficient, unaffordable, and just too d*mn confusing . We work with a lot of dentists and they don’t love it either. Dentists want to treat you, help you, and see you smile.
- We believe that by automating parts of revenue cycle management, we increase financial transparency for everyone involved - patients, providers, and help support small business owner dentists across America.
- You have experience building “power tools,” meaning complex, multi-step interfaces with high functionality.
- You have deep experience with React and Next.js.
- You have deep experience optimizing React performance.
- You have built and maintained a scalable component system or design system.
- You have strong design sensibility and a high bar for UI polish and interaction.
- How do we build a maintainable component library?
- How do we virtualize our large tables?
- How do we build reusable page layouts to ensure consistency across the app?
- How do we build UIs that allow users to configure complex data pipeline schemas in a no-code way?
- How do we make our UI as dense as possible to increase productivity while maintaining usability for non technology-native users?
