Responsibilities
- As a Product Associate, you will accelerate growth by driving player activation and retention through data-driven insights and a deep understanding of user behavior. You’ll help scale our platform by organizing research, identifying UX issues, designing and running experiments, and transforming complex inputs into clear, testable product initiatives for a game with over 5 million annual players.
Requirements

- Strong written communication for async collaboration; able to write clear specs, experiment docs, and impact reports
- Skilled at turning research into structured, actionable outputs (matrices, experiment plans, reports)
- Experience designing and running experiments, defining success metrics, and conducting post-mortems
- Able to identify UX issues and collaborate with designers to iterate and validate solutions through testing
- Proficient in data analysis, interpretation, and presenting findings
- Strong product intuition, familiar with mobile UX constraints and product lifecycle
Nice to have
- SQL proficiency
- Ability to read code for deeper collaboration with devs
- Forum/community moderation or support experience

- We're building the biggest digital board game platform on the internet. Last year, our players spent 3,037 years playing 60 million games on our Settlers of Catan alternative. We're a fully remote, asynchronous team spread across multiple continents, focused on crafting extremely polished digital board games that people truly love.
- Research and analyze competitive game modes and premium features to create product matrices and propose experiments
- Identify and document UX issues through structured investigation and competitor benchmarking
- Create mockups and low-fidelity designs to communicate experiments and UX improvements
- Define success metrics, design and sequence experiments, and estimate impact
- Oversee experiments end-to-end: prepare specs, coordinate design and development, QA builds, launch, analyze results, and produce actionable reports
- Analyze funnel and experiment data to generate actionable insights
- Coordinate cross-functionally to execute experiments and maintain quality
- Conduct user testing and playtests to validate solutions and gather insights
- Break down complex projects into clear, testable steps for async execution
- Report results, trade-offs, and recommendations in structured written formats
