  • As Business Development Director – Taiwan , you will act as BJAK’s on-the-ground representative, responsible for building strategic insurer partnerships, navigating local market and regulatory dynamics, and executing commercial strategies that drive measurable revenue impact.
  • You will work closely with the Country Manager and senior leadership, shaping BJAK’s Taiwan growth strategy while owning end-to-end execution across partnerships, revenue, and performance.
  • • Identify, prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close strategic insurer and ecosystem partnerships within aggressive timelines. • Own the full partnership lifecycle — from initial outreach and relationship building through negotiation, onboarding, integration, and go-live. • Drive fast-market-entry partnerships and minimize activation timelines through proactive stakeholder alignment.
  • • Build, own, and manage a robust and visible pipeline of insurer and strategic partners in the Taiwan market. • Maintain disciplined follow-ups, accurate CRM hygiene, and clear reporting to ensure consistent deal progression and closures. • Operate with urgency — no stalled deals, no loose ends.
  • • Lead commercial negotiations with strong judgment on pricing, underwriting alignment, and partnership economics. • Collaborate closely with legal, product, technology, operations, and compliance teams to finalize agreements and accelerate execution. • Align internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth onboarding and timely go-lives.
  • • Own monthly revenue, policy, and activation targets. • After go-live, continue driving partner productivity, volume growth, and KPI performance. • Identify cross-sell, upsell, and optimization opportunities to convert partnerships into long-term, scalable revenue streams.
  • • Act as a strategic advisor to the Country Manager on Taiwan market dynamics, insurer behavior, regulatory considerations, and growth opportunities. • Represent the Country Manager in meetings, calls, and written communications with partners, regulators, and stakeholders as required. • Serve as the primary liaison between leadership, partners, and internal teams to enable fast decision-making and execution.
  • • Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve partner or execution issues while maintaining high standards of service and delivery. • Contribute to strategic planning, policy development, and operational improvements alongside senior leadership. • Support resource and capacity planning, including input on staffing and operational priorities aligned with business growth. • Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and local regulatory requirements. • Communicate clearly, concisely, and accurately across all stakeholders to support effective operations.
