  • FTMO Group is looking for a Junior Lawyer to join our global legal and compliance team. If you have a feel for compliance , including data privacy and AI regulation, and want to apply it in a fast-moving fintech environment, we'd love to hear from you.
  • We are a team of 6 lawyers led by the Group Chief Legal Officer, with backgrounds from international law firms and regulated entities, and we are genuinely happy to share what we know .   • Compliance (including data privacy, security and AI) - this will be the core of your agenda. As to the day-to-day work, this will include especially:
  • Research & Preparation of Legal Assessment and Business Advisory: A big part of your work will be legal research on a wide range of topics, discussions with business and assessing feasibility of new product ideas.
  • Policies: You will draft and review internal policies, making sure they are practical, up to date and aligned with our internal processes.
  • Regulatory Processes: You will participate in preparation and processing of various regulatory filings, especially relating to change management within the FTMO Group (overlap and coordination with M&A and corporate).
  • Product and Marketing: You will review product terms, advise on client communication and approve marketing campaigns and other content from a legal perspective, ensuring compliance with our group requirements.
  • Vendor Management & Contracts: You will review and negotiate vendor contracts as part of our vendor management process, making sure commercial agreements are solid and aligned with our standards.
  • KYC & Onboarding: You will be assisting in vendor onboarding processes, including more extensive KYC and due diligence processes where needed.
  • From time to time you will also get involved in other areas the team covers — such as corporate and M&A, real estate or labour law. We like people who are curious and willing to pitch in beyond their core agenda.
  • A completed Master’s degree in Law.
  • Prior experience (e.g., as a legal assistant/paralegal during your studies) in a law firm or an in-house legal team is required.
  • Fluent knowledge of English and Czech (both spoken and written) is essential, as we communicate daily in an international environment and manage global projects.
  • A positive relationship with technology and an open mind when it comes to trying new innovative tools and working methods in particular AI tools such as Harvey AI or Claude.
  • Past experience in data protection , cybersecurity or AI related legal matters is an advantage.
  • A positive, proactive attitude, flexibility, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
