Corporate Paralegal role supporting in-house legal department functions for a gaming blockchain company.

Responsibilities

  • We are seeking a Corporate Paralegal to join the legal department to assist with the build out of the legal function. This role requires an individual who has experience with supporting an in-house legal department and can take on and juggle a variety of projects in a fast-paced environment. This position will initially report to the Senior Legal Counsel.

  • Assist with carrying out core corporate functions, including: equity and cap table management, financing and due diligence tasks, outside counsel administration, and legal notice administration.
  • Support corporate governance work streams (e.g., entity registrations and licensing, issuing legal notices, board support, etc.).
  • Maintain corporate books, minutes, and resolutions to ensure good standing.
  • Prepare signature envelopes, track execution, and archive final agreements.
  • Optimise department workflows and manage legal technology implementations.
  • Learn and prepare mandatory filings to various jurisdictions.
  • KYC & Due Diligence - Conduct background checks and verify documents for partners and transactions.
  • Manage tasks in Jira, signatures in DocuSign, and equity in Carta.
  • General support of attorneys and legal department projects.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in a top law firm, or a similar working environment.
  • Must reside in Vietnam and be able to periodically travel to the company's global offices.
