Requirements
- 2+ years building product at high-growth companies
- Familiarity with web development, relational databases, and distributed systems
- Experience with Typescript, React, Redux, or similar frameworks
- Experience with data pipelines, mission-critical systems (e.g. fintech), or complex workflow engines is a plus
- Loves in-person culture, we are 5 days a week in office in downtown San Mateo

- Role Overview :
- As a software engineer at Maxima, you’ll work on building and improving core parts of our product, with a primary focus on either backend or frontend development.
- Backend-focused engineers will work on systems that handle high-volume financial data, accounting workflows, and the infrastructure that powers our agentic AI platform. Frontend-focused engineers will build intuitive, reliable user experiences for complex enterprise workflows, working closely with product and design.
- Regardless of focus, you’ll collaborate closely with other engineers, product managers, and customers to ship high-quality features end to end. We value engineers who take ownership, care deeply about correctness and reliability, and enjoy working on challenging, real-world problems.
