Provide individualized physical therapy support to a high school student in Brooklyn, NY, focusing on functional and mobility goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one physical therapy services to the assigned high school student.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with the student, family, and school team.
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure consistency across school and home environments.
Requirements
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New York.
- Experience working with adolescents or students with special needs preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow school protocols.
- Please submit your resume and relevant NYS license/certification. Include (or note readiness to obtain) NYC DOE fingerprinting and vendor status. Proof of your ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence.
