Responsibilities

  • You will be the primary driver of Talent Acquisition for MEA: building pipelines, closing high-caliber candidates, and partnering closely with the Global Head of Talent in Paris to execute our local hiring strategy. This is a high-volume, high-bar recruiting mandate with real ownership and direct access to leadership.
  • You will operate with full autonomy — this is a greenfield environment and you will be shaping how Harmattan hires in MEA. You may also provide support on HR topics.
  • Lead end-to-end recruiting across R&D, operational, and support functions in MEA
  • Build and own sourcing strategies tailored to the MEA talent market
  • Partner with hiring managers across our regions to define role requirements, calibrate on profiles, and move searches efficiently
  • Manage the full candidate lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interviews, offer structuring, and pre-boarding in Ashby (our ATS)
  • Drive high-volume hiring for production and operator profiles at launch, while simultaneously running senior and technical searches
  • Represent Harmattan AI as an employer of choice in MEA — building brand awareness in a market where defense-tech is still emerging
  • Maintain pipeline data and reporting for MEA headcount; surface risks and recommendations proactively to Paris
  • Support on HR topics, such as onboarding coordination or local compliance queries

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Talent Acquisition experience, ideally within a fast-scaling tech, deep-tech, or industrial company
  • Proven track record running high-volume and senior searches simultaneously — you are comfortable across the full spectrum
  • Strong command of the Moroccan / MEA labor market and hiring landscape, with existing networks across engineering, manufacturing, and technical talent pools
  • Fluent in Arabic and French; professional English required for reporting into Paris headquarters
  • Hands-on with ATS platforms (Ashby experience a plus) and comfortable with HRIS systems
  • Intellectually rigorous and data-driven — you track pipeline metrics, flag risks early, and present clearly to leadership
  • Autonomous by nature: you move fast, make sound judgments with incomplete information, and escalate the right things
