Lead product strategy and execution to align with business goals for an AI-native video production platform.
Other
- VidRush is an AI-native video production platform that replaces an entire video team with coordinated AI agents.
- Creators turn a simple idea into a fully produced, long-form video—research, script, voiceover, visuals, motion graphics, and rendering—in under an hour. No timelines. No editing headaches. Just intent → finished video.
- We’re building a new way to create video that feels more like writing than editing, and we’re already seeing strong traction from serious creators and media teams.
- If you’re excited about AI, creator tools, and building category-defining products from first principles, you’ll fit right in.
- Department: Product
- Reports To: CEO
- Location: Remote (Turkey strongly preferred / UTC+3)
- We have a talented engineering team and junior PM support, but we lack a strategic anchor . Currently, the CEO is the only bridge between business goals and technical execution, leading to vague PRDs and sprints cluttered with low-priority tasks.
- We need a Head of Product with 3–7 years of experience to take full ownership of the "What" and "Why." You will be the person who translates high-level vision into airtight requirements, holds the team accountable to high quality standards, and relentlessly cuts anything that doesn't drive revenue or retention.
- Define the 4–12 week product strategy with clear milestones and success criteria.
- Act as the final filter for the roadmap: evaluate every feature against revenue impact and growth potential.
- Conduct deep competitor analysis (Opus Clip, Descript, Submagic) to ensure VidRush maintains its "category-defining" edge.
- Airtight PRDs: Take over and refine all Product Requirement Documents. Every spec must include acceptance criteria, edge cases, and a clear split between frontend/backend responsibilities to eliminate developer guesswork.
- Jira Mastery: Own the backlog hygiene and sprint planning. Move beyond "moving tickets" to using velocity data to improve delivery predictability.
- Process Design: Establish lightweight rituals (two-pass syncs, async notes) that work across distributed time zones.
- Structure unpredictable AI experimentation using time-boxed "spikes."
- Bridge the gap between R&D exploration and product reality, ensuring research stays aligned with business goals rather than chasing every new model trend.
- Manage and mentor the existing PM team (Nayana + Project Manager).
- Be the "First Line of Defense" against scope creep, pushing back on bad ideas—even from the CEO—to protect team velocity.
- Experience: 3–7 years of Product Management experience, preferably at a high-growth startup (YC-backed, Series A+, or top-tier Turkish tech like Peak, Dream Games, or Getir).
- AI Literacy: You must understand the nuances of building with non-deterministic systems (LLMs/Generative AI) and how that impacts roadmap planning.
- Technical Writing: You take pride in documentation. Your requirements leave zero room for ambiguity.
- Execution-Driven: You have a "Bias to Action." You prefer a shipped feature over a perfect slide deck.
- Customer Obsession: You are comfortable jumping into Discord or hopping on calls with power users to turn messy feedback into actionable insights.
- Communication: Direct, candid, and persuasive. You align stakeholders without creating friction.
- Small Team, High Ownership: You will drive outcomes directly. There is no room for performative process here.
- Speed is a Feature: We value crisp requirements followed by fast iteration.
- Remote-First: We coordinate across time zones but require a minimum of 6 hours overlap with Turkish business hours (UTC+3).
- Ready to define the future of AI video? > We value execution over everything else. If you have a track record of shipping high-impact products and want to lead a category-defining platform, let’s talk.
