• A venture-backed legal services company is seeking a Senior Partner to lead its M&A practice. The company is reimagining how in-house and external legal teams execute transactions — using AI to deliver faster, more efficient deal work at a fraction of the traditional cost. This is an early and defining hire at a well-capitalized firm with a clear vision and an ambitious roadmap.
• The Senior Partner will own the M&A practice end-to-end — leading transactions, building client relationships, and helping shape the firm's approach to AI-enabled deal work. This is not a support role. You will be a named partner driving real deals for a growing client base, with the autonomy to build the practice in your own image.
• The role is based in New York City and sits at the center of the firm's leadership team.
• The ideal candidate brings deep transactional experience — whether from BigLaw, in-house at an acquisitive company, or the buy-side at a fund — and a genuine appetite for building something new. You are energized by the idea of practicing law differently, comfortable operating in an early-stage environment, and ready to bring your deal experience to a platform designed to scale it.
