  • The Los Angeles office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP is seeking a Labor and Employment Associate to join its team.
  • Job Requirements:
  • Experience representing employers in employment litigation matters
  • Experience handling single-plaintiff employment litigation, wage and hour matters, and employment class actions
  • Exposure to employment counseling and advice work (preferred)
  • Familiarity with traditional labor matters, including arbitrations, labor negotiations, union avoidance campaigns, and NLRB proceedings (a plus)
  • Proficient in all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion drafting, court appearances, and trial preparation
  • Outstanding writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Strong academic credentials
  • Ideal Candidates Will:
  • Have 1–3 years of experience representing employers in labor and employment matters
  • Be highly motivated to join an active national Labor and Employment practice
  • Demonstrate initiative and readiness to assume responsibility for client matters
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and thrive in a large, collaborative team environment
  • Be admitted to the California Bar (required)
