Part-time PCB Design Engineer role focused on schematic capture and high-density PCB layout for wearable AI hardware in Shenzhen.
Responsibilities
- Part-time PCB Design Engineer based in or near Shenzhen. Own schematic capture and PCB layout for our next-gen wearable hardware, from first spin to production. Remote with occasional on-site sessions at our factory in Shenzhen.
- Schematic capture and high-density PCB layout in KiCad
- Design compact multilayer boards (4-8+ layers) with aggressive area and height constraints
- Antenna layout and RF tuning for BLE and other wireless protocols
- Signal integrity and impedance-controlled routing
- DFM review and collaboration with CM partners in Shenzhen
Requirements
- Strong KiCad experience — required
- Proven track record with 4+ layer boards in tight form factors (wearables, earbuds, IoT)
- Antenna design and RF layout experience
- Flex or rigid-flex PCB design a strong plus
- Experience working with Shenzhen manufacturers
