About the company

  • The American Housing Corporation is on a mission to solve the America’s housing crisis through all-out housing production. We believe that America’s affordability crisis is fundamentally a production crisis, and that solving it requires a vertically integrated development approach: We buy land, design and manufacture, install, and sell our rowhomes directly to customers — all by ourselves.
  • We're hiring the best engineers, designers, and builders to solve one of the hardest problem in America. We’re based in Austin, TX and build across the country.

  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., Revit, Enscape, etc).
  • Experience working with prefabricated / modular / panelized construction is preferred but not required.

Other

  • Documentation and coordination: develop complete permitting and construction documentation; coordinate with local consultants on site specific conditions.
  • Stakeholder coordination: coordinate with local planning and building departments to bring all plans and drawings to full approval and compliance.
  • Construction support: support projects through RFIs, submittals, field issue resolution.
  • Product feedback: aggregate recommendations for Product Design team based on project-specific learnings.
