Product Manager role focused on driving growth by building scalable healthcare platform integrations and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • As an Product Manager, Growth at General Medicine, you’ll help scale a healthcare store that makes it delightfully simple for people to take care of their health. We provide upfront cash and insurance prices for virtual and in-person visits, prescriptions, labs, imaging, and more. You will build the systems that connect our platform to payers, employer partners, and healthcare networks. This isn’t a maintenance role — it’s foundational. You’ll define how complex external relationships translate into scalable, reliable infrastructure inside our product.
  • We’re looking for a scrappy, analytical PM who’s comfortable in ambiguity and strong in execution. You’ll dive into messy inputs, structure hard problems, and work side-by-side with engineering to ship integrations, APIs, and workflows that power real-world operations. You’ll set clear roadmaps, define success metrics, and ensure what we build scales cleanly as volume and complexity grow.
  • This role sits at the intersection of product, data, and backend systems. You’ll turn cross-functional complexity into durable architecture — building the enterprise layer that enables everything else to move faster.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with healthcare, fintech, or other regulated systems
  • Experience scaling enterprise integrations across multiple partners
  • Quantitative or technical academic background

Conditions

  • We’re an experienced team that’s built in this space before and have a distinctive vision for what healthcare can look like when designed around transparency and simplicity. We believe that modern growth is a product function — not just marketing — and we’re building for the long term.
  • You’ll be the first Growth PM , reporting directly to the CEO and shaping how we define and drive growth across the company. Your work will have immediate, measurable impact and deep visibility with leadership.
  • This role is based in San Francisco (near Market and Spear St) . We expect our team to work from the office at least three days per week.

Other

  • General Medicine is building a healthcare store that makes it radically simpler — and more transparent — for people to access care. We provide upfront cash and insurance prices for visits, prescriptions, labs, imaging, and more.
  • Behind that simplicity is complex infrastructure: payer integrations, pricing logic, eligibility systems, reconciliation workflows, and financial rails.
  • We’re building the systems that make transparent healthcare possible.
  • Own enterprise-facing product initiatives end-to-end, from problem definition through launch and iteration
  • Define and maintain a clear enterprise product roadmap aligned to company goals and partner needs
  • Design and prioritize complex integrations with payers and other external partners, balancing technical constraints with business impact
  • Translate regulatory, contractual, and operational requirements into clear, testable product specifications
  • Partner closely with engineering to scope APIs, data models, workflows, and system architecture decisions
  • Define success metrics and monitor system performance, reliability, and partner experience post-launch
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and scale partner integrations over time
  • Drive structured decision-making across cross-functional stakeholders
  • Contribute to the long-term strategy and evolution of our B2B platform
  • 4–8 years of product management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or integration-heavy environments
  • Experience owning technically complex product surfaces or infrastructure
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with multi-source data and operational systems
  • Ability to define metrics, evaluate tradeoffs, and prioritize under constraint
  • Technical fluency — comfortable discussing APIs, data flows, and system design with engineers
  • Track record of operating effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
  • Clear, structured communicator who can align engineering, leadership, and external partners
